SUMMER SOCCER ACADEMY

Wednesday 2nd September to Friday 4th September


We are delighted to host our annual Summer Soccer Academy, a programme that has been running for over 20 years and is now in its 15th season under the leadership of Arsenal Scout and Eton College Football Coach, Tristan Lewis.


Working alongside Tristan is a team of highly experienced, F.A.-qualified coaches. They are actively involved with teams within the Association at Eton College and bring extensive playing and coaching experience from professional football both in England and internationally, including the Premier League and World Cup competitions.


The Academy takes place at the Willowbrook Sports Pavilion, located within the College grounds, and runs over three days. It is open to boys entering Year 7 and Year 8, those starting Year 9 (F Block), and boys progressing into Years 10 and 11 (E & D Block).


The Academy warmly welcomes participants from all schools.

THE ACADEMY

Throughout the course, players will be immersed in our SELECT training syllabus, designed to sharpen technique, enhance game understanding, and build confidence, all with the goal of preparing your son to hit the ground running for the 2026/27 school football season.


Each session is carefully structured to challenge and inspire, combining high-intensity drills with real match scenarios to accelerate development in a fun and competitive environment.



Alongside our outfield programme, we offer a specialist goalkeeper training group running daily, providing dedicated coaching tailored specifically to developing shot-stoppers — from handling and positioning to distribution and command of the box.

THE DETAILS

DATES : Wednesday 2nd September to Friday 4th September.


VENUE : Willowbrook Sports Pavilion, Eton College.


TIME : 10am to 3pm daily.


COST : £280 for three days including training kit.

AGES : Open to boys starting the following year groups in September;


  • Year 7 and Year 8
  • Year 9 (F Block)   
  • Year 10 (E Block) and Year 11 (D Block)
  • Goalkeepers (all above year groups)


WHAT TO BRING :


  • Packed lunch & drinks - no nut products please.
  • Football Boots/Trainers suitable for sand based astroturf (no studs or moulds)
  • Shin Pads
  • Macron training kit will be distributed on day one.

 


KIT

Included in the price of the course is one training kit consisting of:


  • 1 Macron T-Shirt.
  • 1 pair of Macron Shorts.
  • 1 pair of Macron football socks.
