A-Level Pathways with Football
At United Select, we’re proud to give ambitious young athletes the opportunity to pursue academic excellence and develop their football talents — all in one programme.
We’ve partnered with The Beaconsfield School Sixth Form Prospectus, a local secondary school with a strong reputation for academic achievement, to offer students a full A-Level pathway alongside our football training.
Through this partnership, students aged 16-18 can:
- Study a selection of A-Level subjects tailored to their interests and future goals.
- Train and compete regularly as part of our football education pathway based at Beaconsfield Town FC.
- Benefit from a holistic programme that supports both sporting development and academic success.
Whether you’re aiming for university, a career in sport, or another exciting future pathway, this combined study-and-football option enables you to balance high-level football with quality education.
The Sports Education Programme
Our Beaconsfield Town Base acts as a Satellite site of Stanmore College and with all our academic study and football taking place at Beaconsfield Town our learners get the experience of being part of a college and football club on site which is a perfect balance for our Sports Learners.
Our sports based education pathways allow us to offer a real insight into the world of professional sport which best suit individual learners with a view to their long term ambitions be that a career in sport, a University place or studying overseas.
We can accept learners leaving Year 11 on to our full two year programme, and Year 13 graduates wanting an additional year education offering perhaps before they go to University or to invest in career pathways.
The Football
With a unique football pathway with our partner club, Beaconsfield Town FC, we can offer Senior 1st Team paid football at Step 4, U21s Senior Football, U18s Floodlit Football, College League Football meaning that all players are able to find a suitable entry level to develop and grow as players.
