DIPLOMA IN SPORTS BUSINESS
YEAR 14 PROGRAMME
With a career in Sport and business desired destinations for many, we deliver a programme designed to inspire and give real Sports Industry experience to learners wanting to invest in their Sports Pathway.
Around 10 hours per week the Diploma in Sports Business allows our learners the chance to learn from industry experts, whilst gaining a Level 3 fully funded qualification in Business giving them UCAS points, experience and opportunities in Sport and Business.
THE COURSE
Open to Year 14 learners only, both male and female with candidates having finished BTEC, NCFE or A Level courses at School or college and looking for a new Academic challenge with real industry opportunities.
With units and learning outcomes in:
- Organisational Planning and Process
- Legalslative structure
- Finance Managment and Planning
- IT for Business
- Project Management skills
- Leadershiop and people management
- Communication Skills
- Problem Solving and Decision Making
There is optional but non compulsory access to our football Academy training and games programme but this not a requirement for learners on the Sports Business Diploma.

- Next intake Date - September 2026.
- Course Duration - 9 months
- Entry Criteria - Grade 4 in at least English or Maths.
(Retake options for applicants who do not have a Grade 4 in one of either English or Maths).
